Romanian Chess Federation, “Mind Games & Events” Sports Association, under the auspices of European Chess Union.
The championship will be held in Mamaia resort (Romania), from 26th May (day of Arrival), until 8th Jun 2016 (day of departure). The tournament hall will be inside the 4 **** complex Comandor-Amiral.
The 17th European individual chess championship for women is open to all players representing the Chess Federations which comprise the European Chess Union (FIDE zones 1.1 to 1.10), regardless of their title or rating. There is also no limit of participants per federation. However, applications should be sent by the national federations.
By the registration each player confirms that she will participate in the 2016 European Women’s Individual Chess Championship, part the World Championship Cycle and has in consultation with her national federation acquainted herself with the applicable ECU Tournament Regulations, FIDE Code of Ethics and FIDE Anti-Cheating Guidelines, and accept the conditions relating to her participation as describing in the General Regulations of the Championship.
